Walking is fairly easy for most people. The more steps you take, the more you move your body. Walking is a great way to see the wonderful sights and meet people or see nature while also getting great exercise! If you are shopping, choose a parking spot “furthest away” so you get a few extra calories expended. Take stairs instead of elevators or escalators. if you swim, walk as many widths of the pool as you can, (forwards, backwards, sideways) and ideally stay within waist to chest depth....or walk on the beach...best. views. ever! Every step will add up and walking outside means fresh air and vitamin D...BONUS! I find walking is also a great opportunity to clear my head, come up with creative ideas and find solutions to problems. Make sure you have good walking shoes to keep those feet happy. Time to get steppin'! ;)
